About

I'm a multi-disciplinary product designer with over 5 years of experience based in Sydney. Currently at Optus Sport as the sole product designer. Leading several projects that span across 17 different platforms, as well as maintaining the design library that services the entire product.

My expertise ranges from crafting intuitive digital interfaces to developing integrated systems that enhance user experiences and streamline operations. I have a strong track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring designs meet both business objectives and user needs.

In my downtime, I enjoy building things with my hands, gaming and cooking (especially authentic wood fire pizza in my forno)

Experience

Optus Sport

Product Designer | 2018 - Present

I joined Optus Sport to support the transition of the platform in-house and to both maintain and develop new features. Initially, as part of a team of three designers, I focused primarily on Android platforms. Over time, I became the sole designer for the entire product ecosystem.

Throughout my tenure, I designed and developed features that seamlessly work across over 17 different platforms, including mobile, tablet, web, Apple TV and Android TV.

Yogi Birth

UX/UI Designer | July 2018

Working with YogiBirth was a rewarding experience that allowed me to apply my new UX skills. I learned how to align my work with client expectations and communicate key findings clearly and effectively.

InSkin Cosmedics

Web/Systems Designer | November 2017 - December 2018

This role had me maintaining two international websites, as well as working/managing with the development team to improve usability and functionality for both sites.

Graphics Designer | October 2017 - November 2016

Initially starting as an intern, I gained valuable experience and quickly developed skills in time management, team collaboration, and idea exchange. I contributed to a variety of projects, including packaging, print and digital products, and video creation.

I've long been interested in user experience design and started applying UX practices in previous graphic design roles. This course has equipped me with invaluable skills, enabling me to see the bigger picture, identify target audiences, and tailor products to their needs. My perspective on design has fundamentally changed.

Diploma of Interactive & Digital Media | March 2015

This course taught me foundational principles of design, as well as photo and video editing, 3D/2D animation, and virtual reality. These skills have significantly shaped my approach to design and workflow as a graphic designer.
